Job Title: Data Extraction and Onboarding Specialist
Reports To: Payroll Onboarding Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
StratEx Partners handles HR and Payroll services for small to mid-sized companies. The Data Extraction and Onboarding Specialist ensures demographic, earnings, taxes, and deduction information is accurately downloaded and converted to a compatible format to be input into the StratEx payroll system.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
Extracting payroll and demographic data from legacy payroll provider
Manipulate legacy provider data into formats compatible with StratEx payroll system
Reports to Payroll Onboarding Manager regularly on status of projects
Imports legacy information into StratEx system
Ties out payroll and tax information from legacy system to StratEx system
Research and update data inconsistencies between two systems
Assists in tax filing during year and quarter end

Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a data intensive role
Bachelor’s Degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work flexible work hours during busiest time of year
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time while working
Must be able to proficiently operate a computer and desk phone as means of communication with colleagues and clients
