ROLE:

Kitchfix is looking for a dedicated Delivery Manager to manage all aspects of our logistics department. From hands-on driver management to optimizing route efficiencies, this role is responsible for ensuring the success of our logistics department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute efficient routing of all deliveries for the Meals Delivered division of Kitchfix (including home, office, and catering deliveries)
• Deliver on key metrics and cost goals for logistics department
  • Analyze and track delivery metrics
  • Develop and implement operational/process improvements to reduce the per delivery cost
• Provide exceptional leadership and management to team of delivery professionals
  • Own HR responsibilities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll
• Collaborate with the Customer Service team to optimize the delivery experience
• Oversee maintenance of our fleet of vehicles, and manage relationships with its associated vendors and contractors

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in an operations delivery manager role
  • 1+ year experience managing driver/logistics team
• Demonstrated track record of setting and achieving efficiency goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, fleet logistics, and adept at analyzing metrics and implementing process updates
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Excels at independent, unsupervised work
• Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
• Schedule Sunday-Thursday
• Bonus: familiarity with Onfleet routing software
