Under general supervision this individual will assist our Dining room Services function in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take and place food and beverage orders from partners and clients and performs cleaning duties.
  • Set up private dining rooms, and/or cafeteria areas with the appropriate china, glassware, silverware, menus, etc.
  • Take food and beverage orders and explains menu items and the way food is prepared.
  • Place food and beverage orders with the chef after orders have been taken.
  • Perform cleaning duties after meals have been served, including cleaning dining rooms or cafeteria areas, bussing dishes, removing table linens, wiping counters or display areas.
  • Perform various tasks for special functions, including setting up service bars, reception areas, assisting the chef with food preparation and general clean up.
  • Assist with food preparation for special events and employee meals.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards usually acquired through training classes or related work experience is required to place food orders with the chef and perform cleaning duties
  • Basic math skills are necessary to receive payment and make change as needed
  • Ability to transport items weighing in excess of 40 pounds is necessary to deliver food and clean dining rooms or cafeteria areas.
