We’re looking for a Director of Digital Delivery with a specialty in campaign digital & eCommerce production.  Spirited and up for building a new department within an entrepreneurial regional team environment, you will inspire the creative and production teams to create work that they (and our clients) are truly proud of!

This is a client facing role, and he or she needs to have strong internal communication skills and management across several disciplines: strategy, creative, development, and client services. The ideal candidate will need to be a problem solver with great attention to detail, capable of working autonomously and as a valuable team member, multi-task, be a quick learner, and ready to make a difference!

What we do

Agency: Digital, BTL, ATL, Sales Promotion, Marketing Automation, Omni-Channel Demand Gen Campaigns, eCommerce, Experiential & VR applications.

This role requires a balance of operations and driving exploration within digital applications, websites, mobile, social media, media and platforms like CRM, MAS & CMS.  

Director of Digital Delivery Definition

You will own the project and support its end-to-end delivery. The role is responsible for identifying and managing the roles that are needed and source them within the network (when possible). Responsible for the digital output for the region (3 offices, CHI, NYC & ATL.

An Iris Director must be dynamic, a great communicator, confident with complex technical projects, adaptable and highly organized, think laterally to exceed expectations, and have strong attention to detail. It is essential to have a passion for technology, be forward thinking and constantly seeking to drive innovation, bringing their knowledge on the industry to the table in relevant situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Digital to audit, test and implement best practices in digital execution and end-to-end delivery
  • Support the Account team in preparing digital project proposals (costs, timing, project plans) that include Omni-channel Demand Gen campaigns
  • Vendor/in-source liaison for digital; requiring everything from sourcing, gathering estimates and specs, to managing the mechanicals to delivery process.
  • Create and maintain workflow and requirements documentation including estimates, briefs, project plans, functional specs, statements of work, status reports, WIPs, change requests etc.
  • Work with the iris teams to identify strategies and solutions that will best meet the client’s needs within established constraints.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are planned and booked within departments to ensure smooth delivery of work on allocated projects.
  • Monitor resource progress on allocated projects, reconciling where appropriate to ensure jobs are delivered within budget and be the driving force within your projects to ensure timesheets are completed for accurate profitability assessment.
  • Manage and assist in the proofing and QA process to ensure that all site work, banners, applications are implemented to specification.

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience managing digital projects; 3-4 years of managing complex digital campaigns
  • Experience handling a range of projects, from complex eCommerce website builds to HTML5 banner campaigns; social pages, apps and platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert understanding of CMS and technical platforms
  • Experience in project planning/ costing projects/design and technical briefs
  • Commitment to accurate documentation and great attention to detail           
  • High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal initiative and independence in achieving outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Willingness to accept wide range of responsibilities
  • Logical thought processes and analysis techniques
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate in a professional and confident manner with clients

Manages a team of 5:

  • Regional developers and producers with lateral alignment to Strategy and UX leads.
