As a Director of Distributor Partnerships, you will identify, present and close deals with beverage alcohol distributors across the country. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships who is a member of the senior leadership team at Provi. In this role, you will be responsible for securing distributor partners and launching new markets with those partners, showcasing the immense value of an open beverage alcohol ordering marketplace. A successful Director of Distributor Partnerships is a self-starter who is results-oriented and has a passion for building new relationships. We’re looking for a hustler who can manage their own time, makes their own rules and is willing to close a sale no matter the time of day or day of the week.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to meet company business plan and sales goals
Be a proud ambassador for Provi, always displaying the culture and values of our company
Develop and implement sales and marketing tools to assure success of the company, including comprehensive understanding of our competitive market position
Negotiate and close contracts with distributor key decision makers
Attend meetings and travel to our partners as needed
Utilize CRM tool to manage activities and pipeline
Collaborate with distributor account management, retailer, supplier and product teams
What we are looking for
7+ years working for or calling on distributors or suppliers in the beverage alcohol industry
Independent self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Energetic, hungry, passionate about being a part of a rapidly-growing venture-backed technology company
Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving skills to create, launch and execute new initiatives
Exceptional organizational and communication skills – both verbal and written with the ability to sell at decision-making levels
Proficient in G Suite tools
Ability and mindset to handle change and be a team player who is willing to do what it takes for the success of the company
You and your calendar are best friends. Time-management is a top priority
Multi-disciplined sales professional with strong track record of optimizing sales performance and fosters a teamwork-based environment
Bachelor’s degree required.
