The Opportunity: As the Director, L&D, you will report to our VP, Learning, Change & Inclusion. You will work across the organization to drive a culture of team selling and best in class business etiquette. You will partner with leaders across all organizational functions (e.g., Support, Marketing, Technology) and levels (general, manager, executive) to build, lead, and facilitate training programs that will increase overall performance of the organization.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop, design and deliver training programs using a variety of delivery options (blended learning) including instructor-led classroom and webinar training, along with on demand e-learning courses (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy)
  • Deliver Manager and Executive-level curricula and facilitation
  • Implement and execute a robust learning measurement approach (i.e., Kirkpatrick, Learning Org Analytics) that drives strategy
  • Execute data collection, dashboarding and reporting to leadership
  • Manage and scale a learning organization that supports technical, product and behavioral skills
  • Identify and manage key learning vendor relationships
  • Manage Learning Management System (Docebo)
  • Managing key end-to-end projects across learning function
  • Oversee global Employee and Manager New Hire Orientation (NHO)
  • Oversee collaboration with functional enablement leaders to design and deliver functional and role-based onboarding programs (including ramp metrics)
  • Drive global and regional compliance programs (e.g., security, anti-harassment, fraud/money laundering) including daily and weekly reporting
  • Support and maintain training systems used for registration, tracking, and online course delivery

Role progression:

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Complete our new hire onboarding process.
  • Meet your global team and learn the nuts and bolts of our business, and where we are going.
  • Meet with various stakeholders including Enablement leaders and Executives across the organization to understand each department you will be collaborating with.
  • Get trained on Litera’s core values and how they are incorporated into onboarding and continued learning and development.
  • Review current learning catalogue and on-deck development plans
  • Review measurement and reporting operations
  • Understand Learning Management System as well as other members and connect with support teams

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Understand and participate in global NHO and Manager NHO programs
  • Manage project plans and change management activities associated with learning and development.
  • Support an updated content development and delivery schedule across centralized learning programs (continuing company-wide learning)
  • Review functional onboarding and continuous learning plans to ensure that content development is on schedule (and addresses appropriate functional needs)

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Oversee global NHO and Manager NHO programs
  • Deliver Manager and Executive-level continuous learning curricula
  • Drive a robust learning measurement approach (i.e., Kirkpatrick, Learning Org Analytics) that drives strategy in conjunction with VP and CPeO
  • Drive data collection, dashboarding and reporting to leadership in conjunction with VP and CPeO
  • Manage and scale a learning team and functional stakeholders across technical, product and behavioral skills curricula
  • Manage key learning vendor relationships
  • Oversee Learning Management System (Docebo)
  • Drive global and regional compliance programs (e.g., security, anti-harassment, fraud/money laundering) including daily and weekly reporting

About You:

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience leading a global L&D function
  • LMS Management and Learning tools experience
  • Experience driving complex learning projects, curricula and measurements for strategic analysis
  • Strong people management experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, patience, courteousness, accountability, professionalism
  • You excel in a client facing environment
  • Proven organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to adapt to and operate in a constantly evolving team environment
