Director of Market Strategy
The Director of Market Strategy is responsible for defining and executing on the strategic vision for Market Strategy across the organization and is the face of the product, both internally and externally. The position services as the strategic partner for the Vice President of Product and is tasked with ensuring each market has the resources and processes needed to develop strategy to meet market sales and organizational strategic goals. The Director of Market Strategy also uses cross-market view to support the platform strategy.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for hiring and onboarding of new MSLs and TPMs.
- Establishes Product Management best practices in collaboration with other product leaders including the Product Operations Manager.
- Ensures consistent approach to product management best practices including adherence to research and agile processes across MSLs and TPMs.
- Works with Product Operations Manager to prepare and manage live releases, including cross-market prioritizations, release planning, release status, and retrospectives.
- Works with Product Platform and Design team leadership to execute on market prioritized initiatives.
- Triages service ticket escalations and identifies trade-offs as needed.
- Runs bi-annual MSL market assessments - scope market opportunity, go-to-market approach, vision, strategy, and execution.
- Collaborates with Marketing Director(s) for any cross-market or cross-division campaigns, content, or messaging.
- Ensures and facilitates cross-market sharing (i.e. Core Claims impact of claims administration for Risk clients).
- Assesses and reports progress in meeting team and market metrics including market maturity progress.
- Executes team member review, evaluation, and compensation processes.
- Identifies, provides, and coordinates additional training and development opportunities for team members.
- Facilitates the execution of strategic initiatives throughout the year.
- Collaborates with engineering, product, and marketing leadership to ensure successful releases.
- Other strategic projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 10+ years product leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree - Business, liberal arts, science, or engineering; MBA a plus.
- Must have a thorough understanding of business and product development, relationship, and project management.
- Relevant industry experience.
