 The Director of Operations (Swing Shift) is responsible for driving profitable business results and operational excellence by creating and developing relationships with their clients.  This individual will serve as a single point of contact for upper management and leaders at our key clients.  The schedule for the Director of Operations (Swing Shift) is predominantly covering weekends, second and third shift.

 

Core Responsibilities

As the Director of Operations (Swing Shift) you will:

  • Understand client objectives, challenges and needs by working with clients to identify and execute revenue producing projects
  • Establish and grow senior relationships with assigned clients
  • Handle and/or resolve escalated client issues
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with client by developing and presenting client market research findings, trends, benchmarking and other pertinent information
  • Develop quarterly and annual plans to translate client objectives into an overarching strategy
  • Actively participate in long range strategic planning for client
  • Lead senior level client meetings and attend regular client status meetings as appropriate
  • Proactive and reactive relationship management
  • Consistent focus on delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Understand business concepts and using strategic processes to make good business decisions
  • Manage the Capital and Special Projects Team by motivating, inspiring, and leading team to achieve results
  • Review and approve quotes for facilities maintenance work (pricing, scope, etc)
  • Meet with weekends, after-hour, and overnight operations team on a regular basis to ensure program is on track towards achieving customer goals
  • Bid client project work scopes to obtain the best possible pricing for clients
  • Maintain a flexible schedule in order to serve clients needs including overseeing weekends, second and third shift operations teams

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years business experience including 5+ years building and/or managing accounts/stores/regions, particularly within the restaurant industry
  • Professional, relevant examples of solving tough client issues
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading individuals and/or small teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing large capital projects
  • Multi-unit management experience is a plus
  • Experience in a trade is a plus
  • Experience in facilities industry is a plus

  • Travel requirements: Travel expected: up to 40% of the time
