Product Optimisation Practice - INNOVATION

Home Based Contract - Full-time

You will be a member of the Global team, consulting with clients, training our teams and developing new solutions, as we grow the Product Optimisation Practice, to be the world’s most innovative and largest product and sensory consultancy.

Client Consulting

  • Consult with clients to solve their business needs, working with our Commercial Teams across the Globe to grow the Product Optimisation practice
  • Work with our teams to activate and increase insight from our solutions, as we bring our insight to life with our clients
  • Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within client organization
  • Contribute to Thought Leadership, Client Pitches, Piloting and launching our new industry leading solutions

Training & Development

  • Activate training, through webinars and in-person training, to train our teams in early-stage Product Optimisation
  • Lead training in Sensory research, the roles it plays in Product Optimisation, and the use of Sensory data and knowledge in interpreting consumer results

Development of New Solutions

  • Be part of the core team developing new, agile, industry leading solutions
  • Identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients' business needs
  • Through engagement of clients and the wider NielsenIQ organisation, identify new solutions that can provide new insights to our client

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a senior role in a growing global team, and as such, roles and responsibilities will shift and flex to client needs, business opportunities, and the discovery and launching of new solutions. This flexibility in responsibilities gives you’re the opportunity to adapt and enhance the role, and professionally, grow faster.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Identify & lead sales opportunities with the Commercial Teams
  • Consult and promote the Product Optimisation practice with our clients
  • Take part in pitches, preparing materials and present to clients
  • Contribute to client proposals & study designs 
  • Consult on the impact of the results for our clients, helping to lead to repeat business for NielsenIQ BASES 
  • Liaise with Product Leadership on the development of new global solutions, particularly in the early stage of innovation
  • Develop training materials and train our teams around the world

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree level education
  • Proven experience in FMCG research, with a background in Sensory Science
  • Working knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis
  • Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
  • Sales experience
  • Effective consulting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and/ or Google Spreadsheet & Slides
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
