Job Description
TITLE: DMS Improvement Coach
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks DMS Improvement Coach in Riverwoods, IL to partner with business leaders and teams to deliver chartered targeted improvements with measurable and material outcomes. Coach business partners on how to best leverage the Discover Management System, inclusive of Operational Excellence, and lead complex problem solving. Engage with and establish trusted working relationships with business leaders and teams to understand their business goals, objectives, and processes. Identify common themes and trends for targeted improvements. Actively share and create a culture of learning within the DMS CoE (Center of Excellence) community to improve our own standards, methodologies, and processes. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related occupation: leading and managing Lean Six Sigma projects to drive operational improvements; utilizing structured problem solving methodology to analyze and synthesize findings, identify root causes, and develop solutions to solve process problems and improve efficiencies; managing, building, and enhancing continuous improvement programs; designing and implementing process improvement and change management programs; and utilizing the application of Lean principles and tools, including process mapping, visual management, problem solving methodology, standardized work, seven kinds of waste, pull systems, Kanban systems, value stream mapping, and error proofing. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
