Role Summary: You are the startup CEO of a new company that has a bunch of ideas and seed stage funding. It’s your job to figure out which ideas have the greatest potential in terms of product market fit and large addressable market size. Don’t blow it! Initially it’s just you and your network of advisors (Fooda’s Exec Team). You are responsible for building a repeatable process - providing leadership and coordination of various innovation initiatives. Project management steps including concept creation, evaluation, planning, pilot, and launch of strategic initiatives. This role reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new businesses within Fooda, from concept through early revenue
  • Take existing concepts and create a startup plan with input from executive leadership; set appropriate goals; build simple financial models
  • Use the resources provided to execute the plan and get results
  • Be an effective individual contributor and move with fast pace
  • Communicate results and report on key metrics as you make progress

Experience:

  • Previously started a business with revenue from the concept stage
  • Demonstrated proof that you can sell
  • Entrepreneurial instincts for what will lead to success and what will be a waste of time
  • Self-starter, high energy and hustles to get results quickly
  • Financial acumen to present and communicate a simple financial model

Our office is a convenient 6 minute walk from Ogilvie and Union train stations and a 3 minute walk from the Washington/Wells Brown line stop.
