Job Description

Interested in starting your career in the insurance industry, but don’t know where to begin? We are looking for a Support Specialist to assist our sales and retention teams. This individual will interact extensively with numerous Account Executives, Account Managers, and insurance carriers.
 

Insurance experience is not required.

In this position you will:

• Act as an extension of the sales team by processing insurance quotes.
• Assess customer needs to qualify risk and place them with the best products at the best price.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge surrounding our different carriers and learn all aspects of our business.
• Utilize different systems and grow within your role.
• Provide back up support to the Customer Service Representatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate good decision-making skills and assertiveness.
• Effectively interact, engage and communicate with internal and external partners.
• Work individually and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Act with a sense of urgency and achieve deadlines.
• The ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
