ERM Coordinator
What will your day look like?
You will supportthe full breadth of the Enterprise Risk Management activities at Alliant Credit Union (“Alliant”). In consultation with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, and Alliant risk-leaders, the incumbent provides a wide range of administrative support to the Risk Management Division, as well as works closely with all Alliant lines of business. The incumbent is responsible for delivering complete, accurate, and timely deliverables associated with their primary duty of administrative support to the noted risk activities.
Must be well versed in risk management, documentation best practices, and administrative support. The incumbent must have mastery in organization, attention to detail, research, prioritization, and have strong communication skills. Direction is received from the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management.
Responsibilities
Do you see yourself doing this?
- Maintenance of various document repositories
- Support of select risk governance operations (e.g., meeting minutes and preparing meeting materials)
- Maintenance of risk routines administration (e.g., calendars, inventories and trackers)
- Quality assurance reviews of risk administrative activities and documentation efforts
- General editorial and creative work on presentations, resources, tools and risk documentation
- Data entry administration
- Outreach and coordination with various business partners for risk deliverables
- Complete select research requests, as directed by senior manager
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Complies with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives
Where permitted by applicable law, successful applicants to this position must either have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered (proof of vaccination is required), or be willing to submit a negative COVID-19 test result in advance of each visit to an Alliant facility.
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, and you have:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in risk management or administrative support/coordination required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analysis, project planning, time management, problem solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
- Demonstrated ability in taking initiative and managing multiple priorities
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Expert problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Proficient in Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
- Technical aptitude
- Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization with the ability to interpret and explain information to audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter, often requiring persuasion
- Desire to continually learn and improve approaches and methodologies
