Department OverviewOur Video Security and Analytics team helps solve some of the biggest challenges around safety and physical security by developing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are used to help keep people, businesses, and cities around the world safer. The business designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant that can operate effectively with limited direction to provide full range of administrative support for a Senior Vice President. Successful candidates will have strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask and excellent written and verbal communications skills. This role can serve as path way to other opportunities within Motorola Solutions such as business operations, communications, marketing, etc.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendar/schedule of the SVP, coordinating day-to-day activities by maintaining a balance between meeting requests and other activities, identifying conflicts and anticipating and resolving problems through negotiation/influence
Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements and expense reports ensuring all related time frames and policies are followed
Prepare weekly business reports. Coordinate with key personnel across finance, product and sales to gather/process required information
Lead planning and preparation of division-wide town halls, staff meetings and other internal meetings coordinating all logistics, room bookings, catering, etc.
Support monthly, quarterly and other periodic division-wide email communications on behalf of the SVP
Assist special projects and other various administrative support tasks
Qualifications:
Proficient in Google Docs / Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills
Highly organized, driven and professional
Strong ability to make decisions/recommendations based on priorities and objectives
Flexibility to occasionally work outside of standard business hours and on weekends
Basic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in executive support
