France Territory Manager
In the span of four years, Reverb has become the largest music instrument website in the world, transforming the way musicians buy and sell gear. Now we're building our team in Europe. We're looking for a genuine music-gear obsessive leader to act as our France Territory Manager. You will be responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives to drive growth across the region.
At its core, Reverb is a product-driven company. Customer experience, both for buyers and sellers, is our top priority. You should have experience using Reverb and come from a tech-related background. This role requires vision and the ability to quickly make informed decisions. You should be comfortable with the ambiguity, excitement and rewards that come with building a newer business.
In this role you will:
- Work with the Director of Global Operations and senior leadership to recommend, develop and execute strategy to grow Reverb in France - across buyers and sellers.
- Identify and negotiate with sellers (retailers, private individuals with large inventory) to bring them onboard Reverb.com.
- Manage and support the key sellers in order to help them maximize their sales.
- Regularly monitor performance of key sellers and propose actions to maximize performance.
- Be the first point of contact for key sellers.
- Consult on development of new features to the platform and a local language experience.
- Be the voice of your territory and communicate with internal stakeholder to make sure we implement the most efficient activities.
- Track and report on key growth and financial metrics.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience in sales, business development, preferably with an e-commerce company.
- Successful track record of building and growing a business, or a new division of an existing business.
- Knowledge of the European music community and in-depth knowledge of musical instruments.
- Ability to develop financial projections and manage a budget.
- Ability to present a strategic sales plan with metrics.
- A quick thinker fast to act with the ability to articulate impactful strategies.
- Experience and a network within the music instrument industry a plus.
- You must be fluent in English and French.
Location:
- The position is based in our European HQ in Amsterdam and requires frequent travels to France.
