General Manager / Sales Director, SMB
Hireology is seeking a dynamic, self-starting leader to run its SMB business unit. The primary responsibility of this person will be to inflect revenue growth through new customer acquisition and current customer expansion and retention. The GM will do so through the successful execution of key strategies including: expanding Hireology’s reach into the SMB market, accelerating new partnerships with Franchise systems, developing software integration opportunities, and increasing market awareness through relationships with influential industry associations. The leader will oversee a the SMB sales and customer success departments and be directly responsible for developing and executing the strategy of achieving double-digit revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall leadership responsibility for SMB business unit, including sales and customer success
Oversee the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and customer retention goals
Lead relationship development efforts with influential industry associations
Establish partnerships with software partners to drive revenue and customer retention
Develop cross-departmental feedback systems that enable constant improvements in the sales and go-to-market strategy
Build and oversee a departmental budget and hiring plan, taking a lead role in recruiting exceptional talent to the organization, and designing incentive plans to motivate the exceptional talent
Required Skills and Experience:
Highly entrepreneurial, dynamic revenue management leader with versatility in both start-up and enterprise spaces
Seven or more years working in a team leadership role for a top-tier consulting firm or technology provider
Demonstrated aptitude in developing, negotiating, and optimizing affiliate and software partner relationships
Proven ability to motivate and manage teams for a high-growth company and demonstrated ability to hit revenue targets
Ability to diagnose common customer needs and issues, and to translate those needs into actionable product-driven solutions
