McDonald’s Global Supply Chain & Sustainability (GSCS) group is responsible for $45 billion of the Corporation’s direct and indirect spend, and our company-wide Scale for Good sustainability strategy.

We are now recruiting for talented, passionate & high-performing Supply Chain & Sustainability professionals to join our GSCS Digitization Team, to help us drive the change needed to make our Digital Supply Chain Vision a reality, collaborating as one with our GSCS functions, market SC teams, suppliers, Global Technology and other functions.
Job Description
Program Leadership:
- Business owner of the Digital Program for the Food Safety & Quality Systems functions
- Working with global and market business teams to develop and deliver a digital vision & prioritized 3-5 year roadmap for the Food Safety & Quality Systems processes
- Ensure alignment between the business functions, Global Technology, and technology providers in the design and delivery as well as comprehensive change management of each digital solution
- Lead continuous improvement & increase business adoption
- Act as an advocate and leader in the strategic design process of projects, provide direction on all deliverables and change management approach
- Participate in relevant business conversations where GSCS Digital tools, data & solutions are required to support the needs of Food Safety & Quality Systems on both a global and market level
Project Leadership:
- Ensure all projects have clear accountabilities & business rules established and are implemented with the respective GSCS/markets, suppliers, and Global Technology partners
- Lead individual projects from business point of view and work with Global Technology and suppliers that establish the required technology e.g. MERLIN
- Provide strategic direction, working with project teams to run partner expectations in line with the overall strategic vision.
- Establish this by strong utilization of Project Management practices:
- Develop specifications & project plans for each project within the prioritized roadmap, align with business owners on clear requirements
- Breakdown of business needs into clear use cases / problem statements
- Work with the Global Technology Product Manager to ensure priorities, specifications & acceptance criteria are aligned and well documented
- Ensure priorities fit with available resources and budgets
Key Outcomes:
- A 3-5 year digital roadmap for Global Food Safety & Quality Systems. Visibility of all Food Safety and Quality Systems KPIs for global and the markets. Consolidated landscape of all relevant global systems and plan for integration. All category leads and markets using our digital tools to drive high levels of adoption and satisfaction by global and market users.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of our Supply Chain and how it functions, Food Safety or Quality & Nutrition knowledge preferred
- Strong communication & influencing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex things in a simple way.

- Understanding of how technology works from a user point of view

- Educated to degree level or above, or equivalent experience, aptitude & capability
- Exceptional self-starter with a high degree of pro-activity
