We are seeking a Head of E-Commerce to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Chicago. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team with responsibilities for the appearance and maintenance of our company websites. A strong candidate will have a successful track record of building and optimizing web experiences to maximize efficiency, maintain unparallel brand consistency, and a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day production and client-facing website operations, program roll outs, maintenance, and overall quality control for multi-regional websites
• Direct and manage the daily workflow of all web marketing campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation & maintenance of existing pages
• Evaluate emerging technologies in mobile first web experiences and provide leadership and perspective to multiple departments
• Utilize data-driven decision making to improve the performance of our marketing and business development efforts and prioritize initiatives based on highest potential impact
• Present recommendations for website optimization and site layout to improve customer experience and conversion opportunity
• Develop and monitor web metrics and conversion funnels to optimize traffic
• Shift the business approach to a mobile-first web experience, ensuring site speed and functionality are always optimized
• Have a strong focus on best practices in web development and design and a competitive approach to a best-in-class presentation of ThinkMarkets websites

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in an e-commerce function with deep knowledge of underlying concepts and the FinTech space
• Proven success managing a team of global developers, designers, and QA employees
• Solid knowledge of implementing marketing platform tags (Google, Facebook etc.) and architecture to ensure consistent approach to performance reporting
• Must be a self-starter and passionate about web design with the technical development and leadership skills to guide a development team
• Demonstrated understanding of UI, device compatibility, and general web functions
• Experience using frontend tools such as JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge and understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures
• Experienced in C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, MSSQL Server
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Experience working with remote vendor teams to complete complex tasks
