The role will be responsible for managing various financial operational processes for the TransUnion healthcare business
What You'll Bring
This may include invoicing and product set-ups for new clients within Transunion systems, custom invoicing reports, review and submission of credits/debits and accruals, accounts receivables analysis and management. Analyst must balance internal daily tasks around customer onboarding after point of sale. This includes working closely with our corporate teams to have Healthcare customers credentialed and products and pricing configured per agreement terms. Analyst will also provide information and research in areas including customer service, product information, technical support, membership services, customer billing inquiries, and other general support items as required.
This position requires advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical skills, independent judgement, critical thinking and problem solving. Must be able to work in high-paced environment with strong initiative and be able to work cross functionality with legal, sales, and compliance teams.
We’d Love to See:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required or, equivalent experience in the healthcare, consulting or finance industries.
Requires a minimum of 2 (two) years in an analytical role, preferably with sales operations or financial analysis.
Advance experience with Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables) and Adobe required
Strong problem solving, logic, and root cause analysis skills; can break down large ambiguous problems into manageable pieces.
Must be highly analytical and able to analyze business and financial data
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with management, staff, and external customers, working both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Salesforce, Tableau reporting preferred
Finance acumen a plus (accounting fundamentals and principles)
Strong work ethic with strong initiative; able to work in a fast paced environment and manage through ambiguous assignments
Experience with billing / invoicing systems such as TUBS or PHOENIX greatly preferred
Impact You'll Make
Perform data gathering, contract review, analysis, investigations, and documenting processes
Work closely with the business operational and sales teams to review processes and identify opportunities for automation
Perform detail analysis, research, and resolution on invoicing and accounts receivables issues, often working with customers, sales executives, and internal finance teams
Assist with billing, collection, customer payment, and reporting requests
Produce custom reports in support of invoices for high profile clients
Conduct research on credit and debit requests. Work closely with Leadership and Adjustments team in review and processing of credits and debits.
Run and produce business and department metrics and SLA analysis, reports, and presentations
Set-up new product requests in our internal configuration systems and billing systems, securing necessary client credentialing requests and confirming correct product setup
Support billing analysis for commissions process
Support accounts payable processes and vendor reporting and analysis
Lead process improvement projects as assigned
