Identity & Access Management Technician
About the role
We are looking for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technician to join our Vancouver or Chicago office. You will provide technical support grounded in strong customer service to Chimers worldwide by provisioning access to sensitive systems in a compliant and sustainable manner.
For Colorado based roles:Â In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $101,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Provision access to software systems, maintain group memberships, and safeguard key systems through scheduled access reviews.
- Provide IT Support for softwares used by Chimers worldwide (Gsuite, Mac OS, Slack, Zoom).
- Be a documentation champion, crafting and refining processes as Chime scales.
- Assist the IT Support Team with overflow work (ticket creation, inventory management, documentation maintenance).
- Respond to audit requests to ensure we follow the rules.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- 3-5 years of experience in IAM work: using Okta or a similar cloud IAM tool.
- Outstanding communication skills: you write good tickets, even better KB articles, and can explain complex concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Knowledge of Gsuite, Google Admin (GAM), Mac OS and Windows.
- Experience supporting cloud applications.
- Experience with Jira Service Desk or a similar ticketing system (Zendesk, Service Now).
- An openness to feedback &Â transparency, and a desire for authentic work relationships.
