Department OverviewThe Centralized Managed Support Organization (CMSO) is MSI's global service delivery engine that provides an innovative and seamless experience for customers and partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Job Description
Responsibilities of the Major Incident Manager include but are not limited to:
Execution and follow-up for Centralized Managed Services Operations Incident Team activations
Gather information about critical incidents from technical stakeholders
Relay technical information and impact analysis statements to executive leadership
Provide external communications to partners and customers
Conduct Business Process Review to identify best-practice and opportunities for improvement after a Major Incident Activation
Analyze, interpret, and recommend actions concerning process and compliance
Participate in periodic governance forums
Work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with global process standards
Must be willing to work non-standard hours and serve on-call.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience serving in NOC or TSO operations environment
Experience working with ITIL Foundations
ITIL Risk Management experience
