The Company:

Elevate K-12 is changing the way classrooms work through live, online, real-time instruction to K-12 schools. Our two main focuses are to give students the best quality instructors and get them ready for the world of the future and to give instructors, especially women, work opportunities, irrespective of zip codes. We are the new way to classroom!

The Person:

We are looking for an engaging, passionate individual to organize, coordinate, and contribute to the inclusive learning programs in our fast-paced organization. As the Inclusive Learning Product Manager, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to guide the development and delivery of products and services from conception to launch and ongoing operations. You will seek to understand the special education needs and pain points of students, schools, and parents. In this role, you will develop strong and collaborative cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders ranging from Academics, Operations, and Sales. You should have the ability to break down initiatives into manageable steps and a track record of managing successful initiatives.  

This position reports to and works in close collaboration with the Director of Academic Products.

The Job:

  • Use a deep understanding of inclusive learning needs, market problems, technology, and competition to contribute to the strategic roadmap
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute deliverables, work plans, and reporting for new education initiatives
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Define and track education program success metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engage and foster relationships with school points of contact.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise at any point in the program development process.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree; education certification (strongly preferred) 
  • 2+ years experience in special education in a K-12 setting.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Outstanding collaboration and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
