The North America Managed & Support Service organization provides ongoing post deployment support to our customers. Job Description

NOTE: Candidate may reside anywhere in the US with access to a major airport.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Assist in the identification, analysis, and assessment of IT risk scenarios in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Motorola Solutions and customer systems and data

  • Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments against Motorola Solutions Security Policies and Standards, recommend remediation solutions, and drive completion of remediation projects

  • Ensure MSI owned and operated systems are properly secured and perform regular assessments and tests to ensure

  • Ensure MS&S employees are trained in Cyber Security and have operational protocols in place to ensure best practices are followed

  • Collaborate with our Product Development teams to ensure they are designing Cyber Security features and functionality into products and software up front

  • Be primary interface to internal corporate Cyber Security team

  • Lead activities to maintain ISO27001 accreditation, including documentation updates, training and awareness, continual improvement, and ongoing control audits

  • Interpret & communicate information security policies & controls to our employees 

  • Develop reporting capabilities to communicate the results of risk management program activities to Motorola Solutions management

  • Some periodic travel may be required

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to understand concepts and terminology in security domains including governance, risk management, architecture, compliance, and operations and be able to express them in a clear and concise manner.

  • High level of integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information

  • Preference to have knowledge of cloud services provided by industry leaders like AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Must have experience designing and implementing Motorola P25 LMR networks

  • Good stakeholder management and experience of leading and building teams.

  • Able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats.

  • Experienced in managing and mentoring a team.

  • Experience in developing governance structures and ability to interweave security principals as appropriate.

  • Understanding of business strategy, budgeting, processes and priorities and awareness of and ability to communicate Information Security implications.

  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and relationship building.

  • Ability to communication complex technical problems in business terms

​Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Must have at least 10 years of professional work experience, with some technical background

  • Must have experience designing and implementing Motorola P25 LMR networks

  • Must have knowledge and applied some Industry Standards (ISO27001/2, NIST, COBIT, SSAE16/SOC1/SOC2)

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 6+ years of directly related experience required
