Job Description

This role will play a key part in enabling this innovation and transformation. The individual will use their business and security expertise to assess IT and information security risks to enable better decisions by leaders, and influence individuals and departments throughout a global Fortune 500 company. This role will lead the assessment, management, and reporting on IT and information security risk.

  • Bring an innovative mindset to established security and risk practices to uncover new efficiencies.

  • Develop IT risk management strategies that align with business goals and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and Motorola Solutions data

  • Engage others in understanding and addressing compliance gaps and information security risks.

  • Maintain ongoing reporting and metrics demonstrating the status and effectiveness of activities and risks.

  • Create and maintain supporting procedures.

  • Participate in Information Security assessments

  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.

Desired/ Skills Experience 

  • CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CEGIT, or other relevant certification (or equivalent experience) is a plus.

  • Experience related to Industry Standards in one of the following: ISO27001/2, NIST, CMMC, SOC 2

  • Experience in policy development and implementation

  • Understand the business and operations of information security and cybersecurity

  • Additional: Technical knowledge and/ or experience in systems administration, architecture, cloud, or other technical domain

  • Experience developing training materials

  • Familiarity with compliance standards and activities for SOx and or PCI

  • Project and organizational competency

  • Intermediate mathematics

  • Minimal travel may be required; less than 5%


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with IT Risk Management, IT Audits, and/or IT Security Assurance
