The International Benefits Manager will be a leading voice in the on-going strategy, analysis, administration, complex issue resolution and communication of Affirm's international benefit plans and programs including vacation, holiday, time off, sick pay, unemployment, retirement plans, disability, flexible spending, service awards, group health/medical/dental coverage, vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives, and life insurance.
What You'll Do
The International Benefits Manager administers and communicates the company's international benefits program in regards to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. This person will be responsible for surveying market data in order to determine the company's competitive position in employee benefits. This role will be critical in planning, developing, and redesigning Affirm's international benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs.

  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Work on problems of complex scope where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Design, implement and administer international benefit policies and programs
  • Develop international benefits training and communications
  • Own the annual international open enrollment cycles
  • Ensure the reliability, accuracy and security of benefits data used for reporting and analysis purposes


What We Look For

  • 8+ years of experience in benefits
  • Preference for experience with benefits design and management in Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America
  • Strong team orientation with collaborative style; ability to work effectively across internal teams, communicating clearly and comprehensively to meet project deadlines
  • Leads with strong judgement and integrity in approaching their work; able to maturely handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Deep subject matter expertise, including trends, thought leadership and practical hands-on administration
  • Highly effective verbal and written communications skills ; able to distill complex concepts/information to employees and Senior Leaders in a digestible manner
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high, and potentially shifting, priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong customer service background
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to establish and maintain compliance of all international plans and programs
