Cisco Meraki is looking for a new Inventory Manager to join our Operations Team! You:

As our new Inventory Manager, you will manage a team of six direct and indirect reports, and provide leadership and direction while maintaining, improving and developing inventory processes. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will participate in the launch of new distribution centers and optimization of our current and new systems to scale in support of Meraki’s terrific year-over-year sales growth. To be successful in this role, you will need to gain a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, quickly learn and administer our existing inventory management tools, proactively engage with developers and project managers, and be passionate about helping employees grow.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage a team of 5 Inventory Specialists and 1 Inventory Supervisor that work from multiple Meraki sites
  • Ensure product is adequately stocked and managed at 5+ distribution centers worldwide by working closely with the Business Operations, Product, Hardware, Supply Chain and Planning teams
  • Work with all global distribution centers to provide forecasts, guide work orders, and collaborate on projects
  • Orchestrate and analyze inventory counts for global distribution centers
  • Report on inventory activities and potential shortages cross-functionally within the organization
  • End-to-end management of beta and finished good product through their life cycles
  • Co-manage a freight forwarder partnership, and audit freight forwarder and customs broker invoices
  • Continuous improvements of homegrown tools and inventory control procedures
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Inventory operations for company-wide processes and technology projects

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an Operations or Supply Chain role with experience in inventory management
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, plus strong experience with CRM and ERP software (Salesforce and Dynamics GP preferred)
  • Extraordinary analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrable ability to lead effectively and charismatically in a changing, rapidly growing environment
  • Occasional travel required
