ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a process-driven person to help support our inventory and production operations. This position will be based in our food production commissary and will be responsible for filling production requisitions and managing inventory daily. This role will assist all critical support functions including: inventory, warehouse, safety, maintenance, and sanitation.

Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 6 am to 2 pm

WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Executer at heart - willing to do whatever is needed to get the job done, making critical decisions to protect the health and safety of our team and our customers
  • Background in taking inventories, filling requisitions/issuing product and receiving products, with a focus on documenting lot codes from invoices and cases

IN A TYPICAL WEEK, YOU WILL:

  • Decant items for use in production according to production planning sheets and release items to the floor
  • Document lot numbers of all items on production planning sheets
  • Check, date, and rotate WIP, place FIFO stickers,
  • Weigh and record WIP and waste
  • Conduct daily and weekly inventories to support Material Manager
  • Maintain walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage organization, and allergen separation during production hours
  • Help to identify and tighten source of variance between production's actual needs and reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of working in a food production facility or manufacturing plant with focus on inventory management and requisitioning
  • Ability to use MS Office programs
  • Bilingual Spanish and English a plus (not required)
