Job Description

The IT Business Analyst candidate is responsible for partnering with IT/Finance stakeholders to understand business strategy and translate into solution requirements. As part of the Information Technology team, you will work on new technologies to solve complex problems and find optimal solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance business partners to address business problems and provide scalable solutions by leveraging Oracle e-Business Suite technology platform 

• Represent the IT applications team in a variety of initiatives (incl. new product introduction, e-commerce and Subscription management)

• Partner with business stakeholders and users to understand current Order to cash flow and digitize/ automate impediments through technology or business process changes to improve operational KPIs

• Design and support customer facing IT processes (Credit Check, Payment channels, Invoice distribution) as a part of transformational initiatives

• Work with regional finance leads to design, develop and support region specific statutory requirements for countries

• Work on identification and evaluation of emerging technologies and trends that will provide optimization opportunities for the company. 

• Responsible for finance features backlog grooming, cross track prioritization and delivery to production environment

• Create/maintain functional specification documents, review technical specification documents, oracle standard/ custom configurations documents, rollout strategies, end to end business flows, test scenarios and perform/ support end to end testing for business partners

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge on Data analytics, Automation, next generation frontend/ backend programming languages 

• Excellent communication (written / verbal), interpersonal, leadership skills and able to work well within a team environment

• Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical

• Detail oriented, proactive, and demonstrates independent critical thinking and troubleshooting ability

• Self starter, curious and eager to learn new technology and Accounting/ finance business processes
