Job Description

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 to play a key role in solution design pertaining to financial modules.

As an Oracle Functional Analyst, you'll understand the current business processes and use your ability and expertise to recommend well-reasoned ways of enhancing, re-architecting and improving business processes and/or technical solutions to support business requirements.

Job Description: 

  • You'll interact with internal and external teams (e.g. Upstream application teams, Program Managers, IT partners (onsite/ offshore), QA, Third-party vendors) to understand business requirements and design solutions specially in Oracle e-business suite and ebs financial modules.
  • You will evaluate short-term and long-term trade-offs for complex business problems and suggest scalable solutions/recommendations that work across regions based on industry best practices 
  • You will identify and advocate opportunities to improve current procedures, processes and systems
  • Support development and execution of roll out strategies, cut-over/transition plans, end-user training and documentation
  • You will provide primary support to our Oracle Receivable (Billing, Collection, Distribution) finance user community by addressing system function anomalies, end-user questions/issues and empower them through instruction and functional knowledge transfer
  • You will create/maintain functional specification documents, review technical specification documents, oracle standard/ custom configurations documents, end to end business flows, test scenarios and perform/ support end to end testing for business partners

Required Experience: 

  • Experience with Oracle Modules of Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, Subledger, Oracle Payments (Credit card processing) Advanced Collections, Cash Management, General Ledger and all touch points of upstream or downstream oracle modules
  • Experience in billing, Collection and revenue process for Capex/ Opex Models/ Service/ Subscription is plus
  • 2-3 full life-cycle Oracle implementations including Oracle Receivables
  • Good understanding of SQL and PLSQL
  • Production support experience, customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and handle design for multiple enhancements in parallel
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion / Cloud Receivables is a plus


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience designing, implementing and supporting Oracle e-business Suite applications
