IT Manager
About the Job
Milyli is looking for an experienced IT manager that wants to grow a team, take our office infrastructure to the next level, build and manage the cloud infrastructure for our new product, Blackout, and secure our resources and processes. You will collaborate with all of the teams across Milyli to deliver performant hardware and dependable services for all IT needs. We are looking for someone that can uncover user needs and build a solid project plan from nothing to meet all of our teams' technology and security needs.
Your Responsibilities
The IT team is responsible for ensuring all of the communications, networking, workstations, and production environments are up and running so that all Milyli teams and customers can do their jobs. We encourage you to "Make It Like You Like It" by using the best technology for our teams and environment and automating as many of your responsibilities as possible.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage projects to update our infrastructure and make it ready for future needs.
- Integrate Azure cloud services with on-premises solutions, set up new Azure services, and migrate existing services as appropriate.
- Work with the engineering team to develop best practices and set up and monitor Azure environments for our new Blackout cloud version.
- Ensure all networking, and communications infrastructure and hardware run smoothly.
- Own business continuity, recovery, and security plans for all technical infrastructure.
- Setup and maintain a line of business servers such as the CRM, software build servers, demonstration environments, etc.
- Acquire workstations and virtual server nodes for several different departments at the company.
- Build and mentor a team to accomplish all of these goals.
Your Qualifications
We seek someone who has:
- 7 to 10 years of total IT experience, with 2 to 3 years managing a small team.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Azure technologies.
- Security experience to identify and prevent intrusion and malicious use of hardware and data.
- Experience with redundancy and recovery solutions to ensure smoothest operations possible through outages.
- Communication and collaboration skills to gather requirements collaborate with and train co-workers with diverse backgrounds and responsibilities.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Experience managing an internal support effort for a highly technical user base.
