As part of the Information Security Officer (ISO) program, you will play a key role in ensuring the secure, compliant, and seamless delivery of security products and services to TransUnion’s business and technology stakeholders. The Project Manager will lead the overall team in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and completing key efforts with widespread visibility across Information Security and the business. The right candidate will have a strong project management background blended with relevant domain experience in Information Security.

What You'll Bring

This role is a member of the Information Security Officers (ISOs) team and will interact with teams throughout Information Security and across both domestic and international business units. This role will be responsible for:

Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines and schedules.

Analyze, plan, and develop requirements in reference to scheduled projects.

Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for participants required for specific projects or initiatives.

Ensure all stakeholders are informed on schedule and budget.

Arrange agendas and schedules for meetings between all of the individuals who will be contributing to initiatives.

Organize overall project portfolio to ensure that key initiatives are tracked, kept up to date, and visible to appropriate stakeholders.

Identify and resolve conflicts and project issues.

Present progress and project status to management and other interested parties.

Participate in Agile ceremonies to track existing efforts and identify new dependencies.

Write internal communications documents, including handouts and emails, to inform team members of important notices.

We are a geographically-diverse team, with offices and personnel around the globe, making this a remote work position for the right candidate. To support these requirements in addition to the skills listed below ideal candidates will also have prior remote work experience and possess necessary soft skills to support their success.

Impact You'll Make

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT/IS, Project Management or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience spanning both waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology; ideally in a fast-paced, service-oriented, multinational environment.

Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods

Familiarity and experience working with Agile and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.

Broad familiarity of common information security, information technology and cloud services terms and concepts.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Ability to clearly communicate, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals

Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Stakeholder-focused with strong attention to quality and detail.

Energetic, self-motivated and resourceful.

Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making

Analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement

Cooperative and communicative attitude with executive staff, managers, and employees

Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality

Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict

Ability to adapt to a changing environment

Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once

Experience with project management tools such as: Trello, Rally, Jira, etc.

Proven experience with Microsoft productivity tools including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Candidates with certifications in Project Management (PMP, SAFe); Information Security (CISSP, CISM); or IT Service Management (ITIL) will be given additional consideration.
