IT Specialist
As our IT Specialist, you will be responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the help desk. You’ll handle escalation procedures and support for the technical side of all office operations, including servicing office equipment, conducting computer diagnostics, resolving trouble tickets, performing minor repairs to hardware or peripheral equipment, investigating user inquiries, assisting with conference room set up, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures physical inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed
- Organize and prioritize daily help desk tickets for a high growth tech company
- Create application accounts and distribute security credentials to new users
- Ensure that all software, hardware, and Operating Systems are updated with regular cadence
- Utilize trouble-ticket system to keep detailed transactional records of communication, problems, action taken, and installation activities
- Maintain and support conference room A/V systems (video projecting, conference bridges)
- Support office local area network (LAN) and wireless network infrastructure and maintain supporting systems
- Assist users both on-site and remote with their support needs
- Assist with new hire on-boarding as it relates to technical training of company applications
- Work collaboratively with other domains as necessary to resolve outstanding issues
- On occasion, be available for weekend support and system updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited university
- Proficient in G-Suite, JAMF, Okta, PC and Mac operating systems, mobile solutions, and Microsoft Office
- Experience working for a tech start up is a plus
- Available to work from 8am to 4pm
- Excellent organization and communication skills
