IT Support Engineer
About The Role
The IT Support Engineer will work directly with the Yello IT Manager to support the company’s users and information technology systems by providing solutions to technical challenges impacting day-to-day productivity.

This role is responsible for the mission-critical services that keep the business running. Such as....
- Troubleshooting issues pertaining to workstations, servers, and other computing equipment.
- Handling service request escalations through tickets, email, IM, or phone (utilizing Salesforce).
- Supporting office IT equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, displays.
- Following up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Creating accounts and configuring hardware for the new employee onboarding process.
- Disabling accounts, collecting hardware and verifying software as part of the employee offboarding process.
- Installing, supporting and upgrading desktop hardware, software and peripherals as well as diagnosing and resolving problems.
- Installing, supporting and upgrading LAN equipment and
- Maintaining connectivity via Ethernet and Wi-Fi
- Supporting conference equipment such as audio and video
- Interacting with service providers like VOIP and Internet providers
- Managing internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
- Processing purchase requests and interacting with Accounting team for shipping & invoice processing
What We're Looking For
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues: printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devicesDNS, ESXi, directory services maintenance
- Familiarity with foundational concepts of TCP/IP networking related to: WiFi, VPN, Ethernet, and VOIP
- Mac OSX & Linux administration and troubleshooting experience preferred
- This role frequently communicates/interacts with individuals, must have strong verbal and oral communication skills
- BA/BS in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
- This role includes cutting/stripping wires and working with low voltage wires
- Experience working at a technology company is preferred
