Target Data is looking for a part-time IT Support/Helpdesk Engineer to begin part-time, as soon as possible. The person will assist other members of the IT department with the day to day responsibilities of maintaining the organization’s IT assets. The IT Support Engineer will have the opportunity to experience a production IT environment and learn about the tools and processes. The IT Support Engineer will have the ability to demonstrate a conceptual understanding of IT principals and apply them to the duties described below:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade PCs and MacBooks
• Troubleshoot WiFi and networking issues in the office
• Provide user assistance and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Protect organizational information through security and backups
• Document and troubleshoot problems and form solutions
• Explore opportunities to add value

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Preference is given toward candidates working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field

• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Exceptional time management skills
• Mac proficiency 
• 3.0 or greater overall GPA
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Strong writing ability
• Exceptional customer service skills, dependability, and a willingness to learn
• Understanding of the basics of networking concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Mac, Desktop Support
• Skilled in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
• Basic computer programming (SQL, Java, etc.) a plus
• Relational database knowledge
• Adobe Creative Cloud experience a plus
