Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing Vendor Management Office (VMO)/Procurement processes for global IT services. Specific processes include HAVI’s telecom procurement process and the VMO’s end-to-end contract management process, including invoice management. The Business Analyst will work closely with all areas of the global technology organization and the finance teams in support of VMO activities. Additional responsibilities:

  • Partner with finance to drive efficiencies in the invoice process through automation and the streamlining of activities
  • Oversee contract management database, ensure all contracts are entered accurately and provide actionable reports for key stakeholders
  • Partner with end-user services to administer and optimize telecom footprint and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies
  • Continually drive improvement and value into VMO processes
  • Create purchase orders and requisitions for procurement, including assisting in the renewal of annual maintenance contracts and purchase of new hardware, software, and services
  • Placing orders with suppliers, coordinating delivery dates, and ensuring that purchases are delivered in line with Global IT Services requirements
  • Monitor vendor, service provider, outsourcer, and/or contractor performance to ensure quality of service
  • Work with suppliers to ensure key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Build working relationships both internally and with key suppliers
  • Remain current with industry standards, trends, and competitive intelligence on procurement and vendor management best practices

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Sourcing, Procurement, Finance or other related discipline preferably in a multi-national firm
  • Experience with process design, improvement, implementation, and management
  • Experience driving change in an organization through relationship-building and communication, influence and leadership
  • Experience implementing best-practice processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; able to facilitate and influence actions
  • Requires attention to detail, ability to meet multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Requires excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in team environment and is self-directed and self-motivated
