About the role: You will design, configure, and tune highly available network services both on-premise and in the cloud. You will lead major network projects to support capacity growth, upgrades, and new products/features and integration. You will collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to work on DevOps/CloudOps initiatives which will enable the move towards a hybrid cloud model. This role also supports F5 load balancer ASA or Palo Alto firewall administration and performs routine operations to ensure high availability through close monitoring of network systems, system events, communication links to other systems, storage area connectivity and periodic review of system resources. 
 

About the team: Join a high performing team focused and driving results and working in cross-functional roles. Lead network design initiatives focused on driving uptime, predictability, and enabling continuous development efforts surrounding on-premise and cloud applications.

 

What you will do: 

  • Work with Cisco Nexus 9000, 7000, ASR, Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
  • Design and Implement network services in AWS. 
  • Analyzing and optimizing wireless network infrastructure components i.e. wireless controllers, access points, Cisco prime, etc.
  • Implement Realtime network monitoring solutions to ensure uptime of critical infrastructure and aid in the quick resolutions of issues when they occur.

What we are looking for in a team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required or equivalent computer systems support experience required.
  • 8+ years of Network Engineer experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Network Certifications, such as: CCNP, or CCIE
  • Palo Alto: PCNSE
  • F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and IOS
  • Very strong Cisco Routing and Switch / Data Networking skills
  • Extensive experience in Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies
  • Experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN design and implementations
  • Static routing, OSPF & BGP routing protocols
