Job Description
Responsible for ensuring-third party compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting products. Ensures new and existing practices, policies, procedures, and training operate as effective controls to mitigate legal and regulatory risk.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and scores due-diligence materials related to a third-party service provider’s compliance management systems and abilities to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develops reports to communicate compliance issues to management. Ensures the business is adhering to standards with respect to oversight of third parties.
- Leads assessments within the vendor management program. Leads a functional team to perform a high volume of third-party compliance assessments.
- Reviews, revises, and drafts policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure business processes are in compliance with third-party risk management.
- Coordinates and communicates due diligence requests with contacts within the business and third-party service providers.
- Provides training to appropriate groups within the business related to the requirements for complying third-party risk management.
- Partners with the business to remediate gaps and deficiencies related to a third-party service provider’s compliance management systems and abilities to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Legal, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, audit, law, risk management experience, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in compliance, audit, law, or risk management experience
Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, law, or risk management experience
- Certified Internal Auditor
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager
- CIPP
