Job Description
Lead Data Support Analyst
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and implement data solutions for web, BI, and analytics
- Lead data support for business initiatives.
- Plan, develop, and execute projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for technical teams.
How You’ll Do It
- Implement quality control procedures and validate production data.
- You will need experience with Python, SQL, Linux, Version control and continuous deliver as well as IAAS
- Reverse engineer and document existing processes.
- Provide technical consulting on data systems. Identify and analyze production data issues and propose solutions. Resolve data processing issues.
- Manage and direct the identification and resolution of business issues. Ensure successful implementation of chosen solutions.
- Identify and solve issues and clarify management objectives.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, business, computer science, programming, engineering, data science, or related quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in data processing and analytics, quality control, programming, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in data processing and analytics, quality control, programming, or related field
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, GIT, Jenkins, Chef, Kubernetes, Openshift, Database design and normalization, Data warehousing
- Master's degree in finance, statistics, business, computer science, programming, engineering, data science, or related quantitative field
- 6+ years of experience in data processing and analytics, quality control, programming, or related field
