• Aid is the designing automated monitoring techniques for problem identification and prevention
• Provide and document problem analysis, resolution and prevention, designing procedures and best practice techniques.
• Install ISV and Operating system(s) following established procedures.
• Skilled at documenting installation, IVP and backout procedures.
• Schedule upgrades using standard change management, adhering to installation dates defined, and within client maintenance windows.
• Document research/evaluation of software products.

• Strong Endevor knowledge
  • Application Life Cycle Knowledge (test to dev to prod)
  • Good JCL skills - JCL has Endevor JCL updates
  • Face to Face with application team
  • Problem solving skills in endevor processors
  • Application/cobol compile and assembly knowledge
  • Cobol 4 and Cobol 6 knowledge for trouble shooting.
  • Skilled in Endevor processor development and maintenance

What you will need:

• JES3/JES2
• zOS System Programming SMP/E
• Fluent in JCL
• ServerPac knowledge/Installation/IPL
• ISPF/TSO
• In depth knowledge of REXX/CLIST
• ISV SW upgrades support knowledge of IBM System Automation/Netview
• Utilities(IEBGENER/IEBCOPY/AMASPZAP/DFDSS)
• Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project
