Overview
Drive Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement within the Operations Department through support of the OS Team
Responsibilities
Support Workgroup Account Teams
Assign daily and weekly workload
First point of escalation
Perform quality assurance on OS work
Report metric escalations to account teams
Support Operations Specialist Team
First point for OS questions regarding workload
Manage OS performance through UltiPro, Engage, and biweekly goal conversations
Partner with the OS manager and CSO manager in hiring and placement of candidates
Partner with the OS manager to work on continuous improvement
Department Metrics
Partner with the OS manager to identify trends and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with the OS manager in scheduling workload
Partner with the OS manager and operations manager to onboard new accounts/processes to OS team
Qualifications
Displays an expertise in Operations’ core functions
Ability to create detailed reporting
Ability to train and develop Team Members
Dependable and accountable
Exudes a positive attitude and supports and personifies department standards and initiatives
Flexible to evolve as department and company initiatives change
Previous Managed Transportation OS experience
Work environment/physical demands summary:
This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
