Manager of E-Commerce

The GoHealth Marketing team engages with millions of current and potential GoHealth customers with the goal of growing their satisfaction and usage of the GoHealth platform. GoHealth’s unique e-commerce experience is a critical vehicle for them to communicate with their customers – the team is constantly testing new journeys, tools, and engagement methods to better serve their customers and deliver them the perfect experience.
This role, reporting into the VP of Marketing Operations, will be responsible for developing the strategy to scale GoHealth’s e-commerce platform. As a [role], you will be constantly iterating and improving the online platform by improving sales conversion and cementing the best customer journey. You will have a pension for innovation, collaboration and working autonomously to successfully drive this high visibility initiative for GoHealth!
Responsibilities
- Assessing our direct-to-consumer insurance “product suite” and creating a strategy/roadmap for implementation onto our platform
- Work with business development to get in front of insurance carriers and secure product commitments
- Work with Tech / product to implement new “inventory” into our experience, acting as a “project manager” to interface between carrier contacts and technology team
- Testing various U/X displays of our “product inventory” that are tailored to optimizing conversion-based KPIs for each unique customer journey path (e.g. “paid” vs. “organic” search)
- Use our extensive conversion data to create “personas” that will help drive more targeted ad spend and create “personalization at scale” across our marketing funnel
- Build out customer decision support experience. Help create proprietary tools and drive integrations that will better educate / inform our consumers on what plan to purchase and how to purchase it
- Explore different ways to “talk to” / engage with our consumers, including online chat/messaging, text, email, phone, and other marketing automation activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in product management or e-commerce operations, ideally with platform that has a heavy paid online acquisition focus and an LTV-based revenue model
- Experience in directly interfacing with clients and building relationships
- A “love” of data – ability to manipulate data and use metrics to drive business results; excel experience is a “must” and SQL experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Web analytics toolsets such as Google analytics
- Experience working cross-functionally (bonus points for experience working with creative teams and engineers)
