What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with Tempus’ business development team to develop partnership opportunities with our key biopharma accounts and drive client conversations forward; Identify value creation opportunities at our key customers 
  • Develop proposals, contracts, client presentations and financial models to support new deals with biopharma customers in sequencing and companion diagnostics
  • Work with Tempus leadership to determine the strategy and path forward for new product offerings to biopharma out of our lab
  • Build tools and resources for our business development team to ensure streamlined deal development and execution 
  • Serve as a centralized resource for teams across Tempus on all information regarding prospective and sold deals 
  • Conduct market intelligence and due diligence to understand competitive offerings and pricing models
  • Work collaboratively cross-functionally across Tempus to drive the business forward and respond to client needs
  • Determine sales and marketing strategies to inform our engagements with clients

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years working in the healthcare industry; pharmaceutical experience a plus 
  • Customer-facing experience and ability to effectively communicate with clients 
  • B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or Cancer Genetics, or related field a plus; MBA a plus 
  • Organized and able to balance competing priorities and communicate effectively through multiple channels 
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Success working across multi-disciplinary teams
