Manager - Packaging & Regulatory
This individual ensures Kraft Heinz compliance with existing and emerging food packaging laws. The role provides organizational leadership across several key operational support areas and engagement with external partners- all while providing food packaging regulation expertise to key business partners to ensure company compliance and brand sustainability.
What's on the Menu?

  • Responsible for KHC compliance with federal and state packaging laws- regulations- and guidance documents- monitoring emerging laws/regulations.
  • Develop and work with cross-function partners to implement compliance strategies- including End Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs- Minimum Recycled Content targets/reporting- composition/additive restrictions- and Bottle Deposit requirements.
  • Assist R&D and Quality communities in handling requirements for food packaging- including FDA safety requirements for contact substances and materials and package fill requirements.
  • Work with suppliers to advance KHC expectations for packaging safety and compliance based on KHC intended uses and needs.
  • Assist Government Affairs- ESG- and other functions in monitoring emerging packaging requirements.
  • Represent and advance KHC interests with external customers- including trade associations- suppliers- Professional Responsibility Organizations- government regulators- and NGOs.
  • Train and support all KHC functions with packaging-related responsibilities.

  • I have validated experience in Regulatory- Nutrition- R&D or Quality with a global/US food manufacturer.
  • I have experience with FDA and/or USDA regulations and food industry specifications and related standards.
  • I have excellent planning skills- ability to work consistently within established guidelines.
  • I have experience in data analytics- critical metric definition/management- and process improvement.
  • I have the availability to work cross functional in a matrix organization- breaking silos.
  • I have the ability to navigate all levels of the hierarchy- from the presidents to the shop floor.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
