Groupon Goods, the retail arm of our business, is a daily one-stop shop for brand-name essentials and unexpected, one-of-a-kind finds. Working in Goods, you will join a retail-savvy team whose goal is to procure and provide customers with the products they want, when they want them. As a Manager of Vendor Operations and Compliance, you will lead and manage our Groupon Goods vendor-facing compliance team. Not only will you lead and develop a small team of direct reports, but you will also lead all forecasting, operational reports and scorecards, and vendor chargeback P&L procedures.
Responsibilities:
Lead team responsible for handling 2k+ vendors to ensure success against Groupon’s success metrics
Handle vendor chargeback and dispute resolution; provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly projections
Run and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards the ensure the continued success of our vendors
Handle all shipping & logistic SLA requests
Lead monthly & quarterly vendor reviews
Build organized compliance partnerships with team across the Goods organization including fulfillment, analytics, freight, merchandising, customer service, buying, and inventory management team
Demonstrate a commitment to Groupon Leader Habits and Values to develop your team and set them up for success
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years experience in similar role; people management experience preferred
You’re deeply analytical, and have a high comfort level with Microsoft Excel, SQL and Tableau
You have a meticulous attention to detail and have delivered results while juggling multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders
You have solid decision-making skills, customer-focused instincts, time-management skills and sound judgment
You're adaptable and can think on your feet; when your team is faced with new challenges or tough situations, you help them face them head-on
You get excited to problem-solve, collaborate and mediate complex issues
You have experience presenting to groups and/or leaders as an advocate for a particular plan or course of action
