At PerkSpot, we are proud to provide exceptional perks and deals to over 19 million users. As our Merchant Success Associate, you will work with account managers and directly with our merchant partners to make sure their advertising is working for them. Your knowledge of digital marketing, coupled with an innate understanding of our product, will help our merchants find success on the PerkSpot platform.

Meet the Merchant Partnerships Team
Our Merchant Partnerships team is a team of hard workers whose role is to build and manage relationships with current and future PerkSpot merchants, while passing savings along to our millions of users. In collaboration with other team members, you'll work with hundreds of merchants and their account managers to ensure their partnership with PerkSpot is as successful as possible. Your work will help to optimize and maintain efficiency on the PerkSpot platform.
Life as a Merchant Success Associate:

• Working directly with hundreds of merchant partners on advertising campaigns pertaining to their member offers
• Making sure each merchant's account is optimized and running at max efficiency
• Coordinating creative deadlines for strategy, copy, and design
• Adjusting copy and creative as needed to account for brand guidelines and platform best practices
• Setting up and deploying advertising campaigns; monitoring their analytics and reporting on results
• Designing internal assets for use in various mediums
• Handling overflow duties and special projects for account managers as assigned
• Attending regular team and staff meetings to go over company goals, success benchmarks, and sales strategies
• Constantly thinking of ways to make the PerkSpot experience better and more effective for its customers

What we're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience working directly with outside partners and/or clients; experience partnering with inside sales teams
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field - Communication, Business, etc.
• Experience synthesizing complex data into simple, actionable insights
• Background in design, marketing and/or content production; portfolio strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Salesforce required, experience with Photoshop a plus
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
• Top-tier organizational and project management skills
• Ability to thrive while working independently to meet various deadlines
• Drive to success and see results while maintaining efficiency
• Desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
• Proven understanding of PerkSpot's values as a whole and a willingness to work hard to achieve company goals

Your First Few Months
You'll begin your PerkSpot tenure by becoming a product expert - attending trainings and meeting team members to understand what we do here. From there, you will build a relationship with the Merchant Partnerships and Marketplace teams, since they are both integral to your success. We will also train you on our most useful tools - Slack, Salesforce, and Outlook, to name a few. We'll also train you on the digital advertising landscape and affiliate marketing industry, so you're able to speak with our merchants with knowledge and confidence. Soon, we will have you familiarize yourself with our most time-sensitive accounts, and begin optimizing their site advertisements to improve overall merchant performance.
