Mgr, Business Systems
Primary Function:
The Manager, Business Systems is responsible for leading all activities performed by their team in the support of existing systems and the development of new systems. This individual will ensure that development projects meet the business partners' requirements, and that they are completed on time and within budget. From a support standpoint, they will establish service level agreements and monitor progress.
Specific role responsibilities include:
- Manage daily operations with third party support vendor to ensure they meet established service level agreements
- Facilitate conversations dealing with escalated or emergency conditions
- Generate and compile monthly department metrics
- Identify & Implement continuous improvements
- Partner with peers to identify and transition additional work from T3 to T2 support teams
- Report daily system health check
- Assist with barrier removal
- Vendor Relationship Management for Engineering resources
Required
- Ability to influence, along with a history of building and maintaining strong business relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong people orientation coaching and leading teams.
- Experience dealing with and managing suppliers of IT products, services and labor.
- Working knowledge of SAP in a complex, multichannel distribution environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiating and listening.
- Skilled at business process improvement.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn, become competent in, and effectively apply new skills.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent related experience.
