Our Operations roles are designed to problem solve impactful operational challenges as part of our global team while developing specialized expertise in the world of global logistics and trade. As the expert who has a deep understanding of your region’s network and processes, you have the unique opportunity to take optimization opportunities and build solutions to streamline operations. You will be charged with helping Flexport account management teams and clients solve exceptional challenges in order to move their shipments in less time with lower costs and via improved productivity by your team, unblocking issues and establishing procedures to prevent them in the future.

Who qualifies for Flexport’s Military Operations Pipeline?

All transitioning active duty service members, military reservists, and transitioned veterans.

What types of jobs are available?

Qualified candidates are matched to and interview for full-time roles across our Global Operations Team based on a combination of the following: candidate career interests, military work experience, education, and any applicable logistics and/or supply-chain industry experience.

Example roles include but are not limited to: Supply Chain Operations Associate, Supply Chain Operations Senior Associate, Supply Chain Operations Manager, Operational Excellence Program Manager, Partnerships Program Manager, and many more. We are hiring for entry-level through senior manager positions. 

Where are the jobs located?

We are a truly global business and are hiring across multiple locations. However, our most critical Operational needs are focused in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

What you’ll need:Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of military work experience
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and other tools to analyze data in order to support business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results – self-starter and self-directed
  • Highly polished communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years military work experience in a leadership role
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel
  • Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools
