Our product offering is selling exponentially in new markets like apartment and vacation rentals, hotels, event venues, insurance, retail environments, as well as architecture, engineering, and construction.

We have an end-to-end system for crafting, experiencing, and changing cloud-based immersive 3D models of real spaces. THE ROLE

We’re seeking a part-time Office Manager for our Chicago location to help organize the office and keep the trains running on time. The ideal candidate will have a background in office management, HR, facilities, and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Meet, welcome, and onboard new hires
  • Ensure proper and consistent conduct in the office
  • Answer general HR questions for the office
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues
  • Work with HR and Facilities teams at HQ to sync all initiatives, trainings, and roll outs
  • Plan and organize Company offsites and parties
  • Spearhead the MatterportCares initiative in Chicago
  • Plan and organize the annual Sales Kickoff Meeting (SKO)
  • Be the liaison for all issues with the building and building management
  • Manage snack service at the office
  • Manage weekly lunches and food spend
  • Manage and order office supplies
  • Manage the cleanliness of the office, including conference rooms and kitchen
  • Work directly with the Facilities team at HQ to manage projects and vendors
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and candidates who come to the office
  • Manage special occasion treats and celebrations for the office
  • Assist with IT equipment management in the office
  • Set up new hire work stations with IT equipment

Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years in an Office Manager or similar role
  • Extreme attention to detail Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage expectations and prioritize urgent issues
  • 1 - 2 years experience in HR
  • Note: this is a part-time role, but you will be required to be in the office everyday

Our office is located in the loop right off the Chicago River. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby along with multiple CTA options.
