Job Description
We are seeking an Oracle EBS Business System Analyst to be a part of our IT team that partners with our company's Services function, primarily focusing on Quoting, Service Contracts, Subscriptions, and Installed Base. A person who is passionate about improving business processes, and helping our business partners envision the future & how we enable it. As an Oracle BSA, you will work on state of the art ERP application systems. We have a global ERP instance with over 150 applications installed, as well as Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. As a part of the team you will be responsible for enhancing our current systems and designing and implementing our future state ERP solutions.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Work with our Service business partners to understand their requests, develop creative solution designs, and drive the development, testing and implementation.
Translate complex business issues into requirements and technical solution designs
Determine the objectives of an assignment, and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Use your business acumen, technical skills, and knowledge of Oracle applications to estimate effort, engage IT partners, and manage solution delivery.
Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time and on budget.
Work with business users to develop acceptance test scenarios, identify test data, and execute the scenarios. Troubleshoot, debug & resolve issues, and document test results.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Experience in the Oracle Service Contracts, Installed Base, Financials, CPQ, or Subscription Mgmt. modules.
Working knowledge of: WedADi and Oracle Workflow & Approvals Mgmt. Engine
Good Oracle EBS table knowledge, and basic SQL knowledge
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams
Experience with Agile methodology for project delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
Detail oriented, proactive & demonstrates independent thinking and problem solving ability.
Basic Requirements
A bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline
7+ years of demonstrated business system analyst experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications
