Job Description
Oracle Enterprise Architect combines a deep understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes, and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the business objectives. This role is focused on the Oracle technology portfolio.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Develop the strategy of the system and the design solution.
Drive and influence the delivery of solutions across the Oracle ERP ecosystem (Financials, Supply chain, and Order Management)
Advise on data infrastructure technology selection criteria for processing, storage, and protection aspects.
Work with the team to document business processes, IT systems mapping, and identify areas of opportunities.
Derives standards and blueprints for Oracle Application migration, upgrades and future roadmaps in line with the multi-cloud strategy
Collaborate with the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) on functional roadmaps.
Oversee system run and maintain aspect to address cost optimization and operational improvement opportunities.
Cross collaborate across IT and business disciplines for better alignment.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Broad background including architecture, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of large‐scale hardware and software systems.
Strong understanding of business processes and related functional implementations.
Strong knowledge of Oracle technology including database, middleware, applications, and security.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and competitor hardware solutions
Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, bigdata, java applications, Oracle and non-Oracle applications
Hands-on knowledge of public cloud solution OCI, AWS or Azure
Good understanding of Oracle SaaS offerings
Conversational in DevOps including microservices, cloud-native application development, containerization, server-less technology
Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements
Must have at least 7 years of professional work experience in IT
Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience of application, data, and infrastructure layers.
Industry recognized certification (like OCP, OCM, AWS or OCI Solution Architecture, TOGAF ) is a plus
